hi. I’ve noticed today that my girl is in and out of the litter tray over and over. She is fine in herself, shiny coat, playing, eating and drinking, but today I have found small amounts of blood in her tray. I will call the vet when they open tomorrow, but has anyone experienced this before? Could it be a uti?

I’ve had this 3 times all male cats with UTIs or kidney stones. Latest one was straining to pee and peeing blood all over the house, turned out he had urinary crystals (common in overweight boys) he had antibiotics and is now on a special anti crystal diet.

Vet in the morning, I hope she’s ok I’m sure she will be x

With a female it's almost certainly cystitis. She needs an urgent vet appointment tomorrow.

UTI, cystitis or crystals - she needs the vet as soon as possible.

Yes get her to the vet ASAP

Get her to the vet. UTI can kill a female cat.

My friends cat had crystals and a complete blockage for a UTI. Nearly died.
