Sorry photo isn’t of The Queen!

We are stock piling the recycling outside the door because we can’t possibly disturb her. She’s asleep in the washing basket inside our tiny utility room.

If ever I lie on the sofa mine jumps on me and he is very big, hurts like hell. Vet says he has to lose weight, I over fed as he had been a stray for a couple of years, being fed by allotment owners. Now a total cuddle lap cat, who comes in to use his tray lol

Churchview · 19/04/2024 22:23

Sorry to be a fusser, but aren't you worried that she might lick that sharp tin top?

TammyJones · 20/04/2024 01:02

I haven't RTFT - but I've looked at all the cat pictures- cute Grin

TadpolesInPool · 20/04/2024 01:17

Whenever I take the recycling out in a box I always wait for our cat to come and join me by the bin. He jumps in the now empty box and is majestically carried back into the house. It doesn't matter what he was doing at the time, he will change direction to get in that box!

I love that @TadpolesInPool !

Doyouthinktheyknow · 20/04/2024 09:42

We sleep with our blackout blind half open so that Dcat can climb on the windowsill and look out whenever she wants🤣🤣

Ds1 left for university and Dcat has literally claimed his room as her own. She’s in there now , lording it up on his bed. Heaven knows what is going to happen when he comes back

@Dilbertian please tell me your cat is actually called Captain Camouflage!?! I really hope so! Had to zoom in to find himn😻

Sorry to disappoint 😂

MrCat is not actually very good at camouflage. He has two other Camouflages: Dry Mud, and Engine Oil. Here you see him attempting to apply Dry Mud. Not being overly blessed with brain, MrCat often attempts to apply the wrong camo in White Bedding situations.

When DH and I went on holiday (leaving out adult DC to house/cat sit ) I washed our mattress cover and hung it on the back of a chair .
Female cat threw it on the floor and slept on it ..... and DD let her !
<sigh>

Well you have obviously been trained properly by your furry feline monarch, of course she must have undisturbed sleep!
I have horizontal blinds in the front room which I tend to keep nearly closed as I am close to the street and I like my privacy. Except for when I had my little love, now deceased, then I kept the bottom 3 or 4 slats open so he could look out

My late Cat managed to snap a perfect square out of our old blinds, so he could see through them. In the end we replaced them with vertical ones, but for the safety of Felix we had the ones that open and close via a stick rather than the chain and the blinds were never attached at the bottom in case he got caught in them jumping off the windowsill.

I love that you call her the Queen. I think my girl is quite cross now as we call her Bobbins on the basis that her brain full of, well, bobbins.

Boy does get called his Lordship though.

You are very unreasonable and you know it!

Moved a sofa bed into the dining room when decorating. Lady sun worshipper instantly laid on it. Long story short its been 15 months and we no longer have a dining room.

mums two cats, hated each other.
They went on holiday and when they came back, cats still apparently hated each other.
But there were two circles on their bed, right up close and touching. Two little side by side nests, one full of ginger hair and one full of black hair....
