Just found my girl on the road I'm gutted

Just came back from going to the shop earlier and saw my girl dead on the side of the road . I'll never get over this . I loved her so much , she was only 5 months old . The kids are so upset and I can't tell my youngest he wouldn't understand

Thank you all so much , just wanted to post where I know you all love your little kitties as much as I do. Some people just don't understand cats and how much you grow to love them . We will bury her shortly , she just looks like she is asleep thank god she has no marks or blood on her. Thank you again for the kind replies
