Do you think local shoot should inform neighbours?

This doesn’t bother me but some of my neighbours pets are scared by the gun shots and they would like to be able to shut them in to keep them safe.
The shoot is a local pheasant breeder who releases the birds into his private woodland. He then has random unadvertised shoots, where rich people pay to be able to shoot in his woods.
So do you think it would be reasonable to expect some prior warning?

Well the season has ended now so you should have peace until end August/Sept.
If it is private land then he can do what he wants but yes for the sake of neighbourly relations it would be polite of him to warn you.
