Anyone converted a baby play gym??

So this might seem a little strange but if anyone can help me, the litter tray can!! So we rescued a cat a few months back. She is lovely but she is so so lazy and very timid. She is also a real chonk, I mean over a stone! We have put her on a diet and are doing ok but my current issue is she very rarely moves. She is starting to play with lots of support but apparently her old owners said she never played. Last night I was painting a radiator over a work bench and had some towels over the bench. Cat got underneath and was batting and rolling around getting the edges of the towel, she will also do this under the table with the table cloth. This inspired me to think I could maybe convert a baby play gym to a cat one.... Is this mad?? Anyone done it that can inspire me?? I'm desperate for her to play and to lose some weight!!

Thanks!! 😺

I had a cat one. Cat would sit on it, but not play with it. But as a baby gym is meant for human babies, not feline ones. You might have more luck with that! And they do have more toys on them.

Yeah I was thinking I could cover part of it to make her feel more safe and then add some different toys to it.... Didn't know they made cat ones!!
