Adult cat food Vs kitten food

I have a slightly overweight adult cat and an underweight kitten. Can I feed adult cat the kitten dry food? Or will it make her even fatter? It's mildly annoying having both types of food.

Their nutritional requirements are totally different, including such things as the vitamin and mineral content. So personally I wouldn't.

Kitten food will make the adult cat fatter.

Thought that would probably be the case. I'll continue being mildly annoyed, as a good cat-slave should.

I only used kitten food for my old boy in his last few years. He needed the calories and enjoyed the food

If you bought a microchip cat feeder for the kitten, the older cat wouldn’t be able to eat more than you feed her. I’ve been advised to feed the amount for the weight my cat should be rather than the weight they are.
