Round up of things toxic to cats

Winter brings this to mind with anti freeze (my worst nightmare), that stuff inside snow globes, and the white frosting on some plastic Christmas trees.

Poinsettas
Lilies, obviously
Some scented oils/candles

What else?

Every plant that anyone seems to buy me as a gift!

I'll be doing my usual seasonal roundup of seasonal things hazardous to cats at the weekend. This is a great start and I think you've covered the main toxins between you, and there are plenty of other hazards for cats this time of year.

It’s too late for them now, but those weird purple autumn crocus things that pop up are actually members of the lily family, and just as toxic.

Garlic & onions surprise me - my cat always ate leftover chilli, bolognaise, stews etc.? She also enjoyed raisins. Are you sure these are toxic?

Yep, Google "plants toxic to cats" & you will find hundreds of sites, including veterinary ones, warning of this. I think the individual cat, and the amount they consume, makes a difference but in general it should be avoided.
