This is Puck. He's the arsiest, most vengeful cat I've ever known. He's also unfathomably adorable. As you can see, he has a weapons-grade loaf (and we often have no idea what he's seething about)

Cheddar was doing that earlier. She doesn't usually do it. Didn't get a pic!

She was a stray so I have no idea. A couple of people have suggested she is a Bengal cross.

Her name started as 'mystery cat'. This shows her colouring better, I'd say tabby and white.

She definitely was NOT about to let anyone else sit on the chair

@sashh ah, I wondered if she might be torbie (ie tabby-tortoiseshell mixture) because the other photos looked like she has gingery patches among her stripes. Lovely girl whatever her colouring is.

Nijinsky is particularly fond of The Loaf, but Balanchine sometimes likes to tuck himself up thus too - leading to the occasional double!loaf, as in the photo of them on their self-heating mat… (in the photo of him not on top of the den-style bed - slept in or on according to mood - Balanchine is looking Hurt & Betrayed because I had taken the moglings to the v-e-t; the photo of Nijinsky looking Dark & Brooding was taken at the same time.

Not "of doom", but two fresh loaves just now.

Balanchine pootled into my room shortly before 0830 this morning to gently pat my face to wake me before the “you haven’t taken your first lot of medication” alarm went off on my phone. Former a much nicer way to wake up than latter. He then watched me take said medication, had a wee fuss, & pootled back off downstairs to continue his birdwatching 😻
