I have to confess. I sing to my cat too. Our song is.....Rhianna: I wanna make you feel, like you're the only girl (CAT) in the world, like you're the only cat I would ever love...

My DD used to have singing lessons and our cat at the time would always join in with her.

The current cats do not approve of singing but will take any compliment you care to give.

Our cats names (and the dog) get added to most songs, only prob is we have way more than one name for each animal 😂

This is me too. I've been told I have issues haha

Mine are all 'mummy's best darling' if I'm cuddling one on their own, but if it's a group cuddle, then there's mummy's best mummy, mummy's best girl and mummy's best baby 😆😻

Mine are "my darling girl" and "babybabybaby" and "what an extra special good girl" (this last for Daisy when she's done a poo - she's got megacolon, so it's always good news).

I think we had a similar thread before and i admitted to:

Also versions of how he's the best cat in the world crowbarred into 'Hey, Big Spender' - this involves dance moves and lots of shimmying plus the occasional Peggy Lee look back over the shoulder a la 'Lady and the Tramp'.

I spent most of last night sat on our bedroom floor while our cat hid under the bed, terrified of fireworks. We had Classic FM on, a white noise app, and me singing.

I sang Christmas songs, show tunes, Barry Manilow, hymns, Taylor Swift, The National, Ezra Furman, and country songs. Her favourite was absolutely none of them, and she eventually left me and wedged herself under the couch. She is very pleased the fireworks have stopped.

I do a Johnny Cash variation: “you’ve got stripes, stripes around your shoulders. You’ve got floof, floof along your tail…” It’s different each time - sometimes he has fleas, sometimes claws etc.

And baby shark, using his name and bouncing him to the do do doos. He likes this one the best.

Such a relief to see there are so many as nutty as me. 😹😹😹
