Best wood pellet sieve litter tray with hood for large cat

I’m a recent convert to wood pellets and am currently hand sieving the sawdust, which is a pain. I’ve read that ‘sieving’ litter trays are designed for clumping litter and don’t work well for wood pellets. I’ve been told Brit Pet do a good one, specifically designed for wood pellets, but I need an XL size with a hood and theirs is hoodless. Peewee have one the right size, but they say 90% of the pee flows through to the bottom tray ? So it may be designed differently. Does anyone out there have one, or something similar they can recommend ? Thanks.

I saw someone on TikTok who had bought two trays the same and, after drilling holes in one, just stacked them on top of the other. Is buying another tray to drill and stack an option? You should be able to get just a tray that fits on top of the base of the one you already have.

Thanks for responding, I was hoping to avoid having to make one (have seen videos also) as not convinced they would be as good, and I think drilling holes in plastic would leave rough edges which would shed micro plastics when you cleaned them …. would rather leave plastic intact and leave it to the pro’s to mould them into required form. I don’t mind buying one as I think the saving on litter (I previously used catsan) will soon pay for it. But thanks for taking time to reply.
