Hill's metabolic - best place to buy

The vet has recommended I put my chubby cat on Hill's metabolic food. I've had a look and it seems super pricey. Is anyone else's cat on it and can recommend the most cost effective place to purchase?

Does zooplus sell it?

Zooplus is usually the cheapest place for things.

Thank you. They only seem to do the dry food and my cat prefers wet food (although maybe she would eat less if I just gave her dry!)

There's a few other brands of "diet" food out there, e.e. Royal Canin do a load of weight control wet food products, as do Concept for life.

Try going to Zooplus and search "weight control cat" then filter the product type to wet food. I also found Hills Metabilic wet food using that search. Just about all specialised diet food for cats is horribly expensive, my bank balance never really recovered from Boycat's CKD diet!

Great, thanks. I didn't know what to look for other than the one the vet recommended. I'm sure my bank balance is going to take an unpleasant hit!
