I’ve resurrected this username to update and thank you all for the support you gave when I found and rehomed some feral kittens last year. Honestly I wouldn’t have managed to get them healthy, happy and all to good homes without everyone’s help.
We kept one, who got along with my old boy cat, and she’s been an utter joy. Wonderful with the DCs too.
Unfortunately much earlier this week she was hit by a delivery van on our neighbours driveway - our neighbour saw it happen so she was rushed to the vets immediately and had emergency surgery that day and had been at the vets ever since.
Sadly during the evening yesterday at the vets she deteriorated very quickly and significantly, so we made the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep. We are all devastated.
