Shady is back in bed, again
I worry when he does this but then I'm used to Ollie who slept for 16 mins on a good day. Shady is more like 16hrs...

Ours all operate like Shady.
Nip out first thing for a constitutional.
Sleep all day.
Have a few hours catching mice in the evening
Sleep all night.
I reckon they are generally active for no more than 3-4 hours a day.
And they sleep anywhere, on top of anything.
Wish I was a cat 😁.

I went with DD2 to see some baby floofs her friend was looking after. Oh my, they're gorgeous and totally bonkers!

My two cats at 17 1/2 years old spend 20-22 hours a day asleep. One is livelier than the other. This is the non lively one with her eyes open for once (eating my catnip plant)

I mean it's the most relatable thing I've ever seen

Even the young lad Tobias sleeps at least 14 hours in 24 as far as I can tell. Boycat & Girlcat, 16-18 in 24 was/is the norm.

So now I have to post just so I can see if I can edit it, or if I'm not important enough...

Aw thanks. Poppy’s a British Shorthair kitten. She looks ginger in the pics but she’s actually more of a golden colour with a dark layer on top, and a crème coloured belly .

I wouldn’t have said I was really a pet person before we got her but she’s stole my heart, she’s such a great wee kitten.

I've never seen a colour combo like Poppy's. I'm glad your family members have each other.

@Sweetpea1532 it definitely didn’t take me long to fall in love with Poppy! Her coat colour is crazy- it’s like blond roots and dark tips on her back and crème/golden on her front.

I think us humans are the bonkers ones the cats are perfectly normal, they have us humans CATering to their every need afteralll
