Friday night curled up with a cat sounds like a good Friday night.

Mn hates me again and will only let me add one photo. Excuse the extremely messy bedding. Walter (black and white, aged 9) and Benny (orange, aged 14 weeks tomorrow).

This is baby Benny now. Behind me on the sofa 😻

I've been abandoned by the whole tribe. Antisocial gits. Frankenstein has decided his favourite sleeping places are the box containing his disposable litter trays, or the top of a bag of litter. Weirdo.

Joining in again with Martha who jumped on my lap for a fuss this evening. This is unheard of as I am person number 3 out if 4 in popularity with Martha in our house. It has helped that the rest of them weren't here at the time.

I may of course have misinterpreted the message, but I'm definitely getting Oi puny human. Where is our breakfast vibes this morning.

Another Tobias breakthrough this evening.

Put down their first downstairs supper, he was waiting right by where it goes as usual & dived in. And not only did I STROKE his back from half way down to the tail, but he let me do it TWICE. Very slight flinch of the skin on the second, but no panic or even movement away. Very proud of my boy :)

Currently spending my Saturday evening having sleepy kitten cuddles with my baby crookshanks.

My odd cat Lexter (also known affectionately as ugly cat cause he lost all his fur after living on the streets. Most of it has grown back but he still looks part sphinx) is being stupid affectionate tonight which is unusual and a bit creepy. He's sat next to me, gently meowing whilst "making bread" and staring intently at me. If I stroke him, he gives me kisses/cleans me. He hasn't been this loving for a long time so I can't help but wonder what he wants.

The rescue lady has been really busy sorting out other cats, but she's going to see how soon she can get mine. Keep your paws crossed it'll be soon.

Eldest daughter and I went on a Call the Midwife outdoor location walking tour last week and bought a new jigsaw puzzle there. You can imagine where the new favourite place to hunker down is now.
