Off his tits and stuck in a onesie

Poor cat - had to have stitches today. He's off his tits on meds, stuck in a crate and has managed to get both back legs stuck in his onesie.

I'm a bit stuck with a broken pelvis so a friend is coming round to help get him unstuck.

I hope she hurries up - he's really not happy doing his best impression of beached whale.

Please tell me it will be ok.

Pic for LT tax. And he is rather handsome if I do say so myself.

You do recognise a face that is plotting don't you op? Personally I would at the very least expect a poo on your pillow as soon as the cage is opened....

BIWI · 16/08/2023 18:57

I was very worried for a minute, because I only read your title rather than the topic you posted in!

SlipSlidinAway · 16/08/2023 19:01

Never mind the cat. You have a broken pelvis - how on earth did you do that? You poor thing!

JenaWren · 16/08/2023 19:05

He does have form for stray poos Cloud.

That would be an entirely different sort of thread BIWI WineSmile

Came of my bicycle Slip. Worst thing it was missed in A&E so I've been walking around for 3 weeks with 2 fractures in my pelvis. Including a long weekend in Barcelona. Not recommended. Shock On total rest now - me and the ginger one!!

Oh goodness - you poor thing. Look after yourself! Flowers

SiouxsieSiouxStiletto · 16/08/2023 19:08

I can't believe that a broken pelvis was missed by A&E. How bloody awful for you Flowers

vipersnest1 · 16/08/2023 19:26

@SiouxsieSiouxStiletto, it's not great but possible. My DM had a fall and we were told she had broken her pelvis in two places. Eventually the count got to five....
Hope you and he feel better soon, OP.

My ginger lord had the snip recently and was very unhappy with me. Kept jumping up on things but hitting the cone of shame . Wish I'd thought of a onsie!

I'm afraid I can... 🌹

Well last night was interesting but we survived. His cage looks like a hurricane has hit it, and he's currently sleeping in his litter tray.

Only 13 more days to go...

That photo has made my day. He is a gorgeous ginger beastie.

Doyouthinktheyknow · 17/08/2023 20:21

Oh that face😻 What a wonderfully handsome, very cross kitty❤️

Cauliflowersfloofy · 17/08/2023 20:26

Sorry your title has made me just proper snort-laugh! Hope you both recover quickly!

pumpkin1212 · 17/08/2023 20:27

Hope you both mend up quickly . He's very handsome.

Zara was on cage rest for 6 WEEKS once. She completely dislocated her ankle at the socket joint, as in, the bones were nowhere near each other on the x Ray. Her ankle was in 2 seperate pieces. She had surgery to fuse it with a plate. I won't lie, we cheated a bit on the cage rest. Amazingly I would say her ankle got 90% function back. The only thing is the paw doesn't fold inwards anymore in the loaf position. But she can literally sprint on it and jump from the floor to the counter no problem. Our vet is a genius. I have a photo of her somewhere with her pupils the size of saucers on morphine. Hope you both get well soon.

Oh that is a "Well this is all YOUR fault" face if ever I saw one !

If that was my cat I'd be very wary of stairs , they can make it look like "a terrible accident" ]wink]

ThinWomansBrain · 18/08/2023 12:04

misread that, thought the cat had a broken pelvis.
