Cat medication from Europe not available in UK - help!

We’ve recently moved from Central Europe to UK with our cat. He has issues with struvite crystals in his bladder and I’ve just discovered that his long term medication (Urinovet Cat Dilution) isn’t available in UK. I’ve managed to get him the Calm Urofel, but not the Urinovet. My vet in Europe said it is a supplement, not a prescription medication, and didn’t know what might replace it here. Are there any vets here who can advise? Obviously we will take him to the vet here, but after his long and traumatic journey, I wanted to wait for a bit before taking him to the vet. DL methionine appears to be the active ingredient.

I'm not sure about that specific ingredient, but my cat has struvite crystals too - we feed him a specific food for dissolving them, and he gets Cystease and D-Mannose alongside that.

Otis a supplement and do not subject to medicine restrictions on importation. There maybe some tax payable in n importation.
Probably the closest products would to pet remedy (valerian) and nutracys/vet pro urinary health (supplements) together.

Thank you! He’s on a special diet too. I’ll ask the vet about the other supplements that you mention.

I wanted CBD oil based supplement for my anxious cat; it’s legal for cats, dogs and horses literally everywhere apart from the UK. I just paid for the postage from Ireland and it was grand.

I use Vetpro Urinary for my cat. We were quite cynical about it but whenever we have stopped it the problems come back so it must work.

Honestly Feliway worked the best by far but I'm allergic to it so we had to find something else.

We haven't done the diet but focused on upping her water intake so stuck to wet food with cat milk every day.

No problem! I order mine off Amazon as they're not prescription based :)

He's been on them for two years (plus the special diet) and he's never had any more problems.
