Kitten food to tempt this fussy wee madam

We rescued this little tuxie lady at the weekend, the rescue say shes 12 weeks.
She’s fab - confident, purrs a LOT, snuggly, playful.

But she won’t blimmin’ eat cat food! We were told about this by the rescue, who were feeding her cooked chicken. We’ve tried lots of kitten foods (pate, meat, meat in jelly/gravy), but she just sniffs it and walks away - but she does seem to like ‘human’ meat, she almost jumped from the ground to get at my beef and horseradish sandwich (obviously she didn’t get any of the horseradish when I gave her a tiny piece of the beef).

She’s at the vet next week for her boosters but anyone had similar? We have 2 other moggies who happily eat cat food so this is new to us!

She's beautiful. I would definitely start mixing a tiny amount of cat food (mine love Thrive or Applaws) in with her human and increase the amount gradually.

Will she eat any dry food?
My 2 are fussy with wet food but eat their dry food fine

She has you by the short and curlies AND over a barrel. She knows she has options.

I'd feed her separately, if the older two find out there's an off menu choice they will also stop eating cat food.

She's cute 🥰 Try a complete dry food but keep trying with wet food. My picky so n so will eat Felix As good as it looks when he's not scoffing Lidl ready cooked.

Our cat is ridiculously fussy and will only eat Blink cat food (although not the tuna one), and Canagan dried cat food. We tried so many other brands which he just turned his nose up at!

PetsatHome own brand kitten food in pouches. They do fish and chicken ones. It's about 65% meat. Mine loved it. Hills dry food.

Will she eat dry food? Lots of cats just aren't fussed about wet.

She can't live off human food as cats need a certain amount of taurine in their diets and if they don't get enough, it can make them really poorly.
