Cat has taken over office chair

I work from home. Our cat has taken a liking to sleeping on my office chair. Do I just get another chair for me lol?
I'm clearly too much of a wimp to move her!

If you get a new chair, that will become hers too. You’ll get whichever she doesn’t want that day !

It doesn't work that way the fact you assumed it was your chair in the first place has me raging

Well something like that 😀

My son sits perched on the edge of his computer chair because the cat is better at asserting itself than he is..

Said cat also tricks him into moving by pretending he wants to leave the room, so DS goes and opens the door and the cat sprints back to the chair to sit on it.

DH has to turf DC out of the office chair most days. He has taken to leaving a book on it when he leaves.
DC isn't impressed, however the new armchair in the diningroom has temporarily appeased her!

Wow, that's a next level cat ninja move 😂

I have never come across this problem before and neither has Bug

Try moving the cat off the chair. Enjoy feeling that you have asserted your dominance. Watch as the cat transfers itself to your keyboard and just stares at you. Give up.

AWWWWW!

''It's very hard work being the Chief Meowing Officer, one needs ones kip to recharge! Mrs Slocombe would be very proud of me, being a sleepy pussy!''

You definitely need another chair!

I would move that cushion to on top of a basket of clean laundry near a radiator.
Let us know what happens. 😸

This is soooooo funny🤣

YouveCatToBeKittenMe · 03/08/2023 10:30

My cat did this so I bought him this.
He was very fussy about where it was positioned but no longer uses my chair and I no longer have guilt over having to move him!
