I'm with ManyPets
It's full life cover of £15k

Catlover1705 · 24/07/2023 08:19

Animal Friends for 2 cats, not had to claim yet.

Seaweasel · 24/07/2023 08:20

Petplan. Deal directly with the vet and have always paid up. Have lifetime cover for DCat.

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 24/07/2023 08:22

Animal friends lifetime cover for our dog. We claim the max every year, no problems.

aimingforthesky · 24/07/2023 08:37

Tesco pet insurance for 2 cats. Boy cat has had multiple abscess issues and their helpline advice has been very helpful. I email claim form to the vets to complete and get refunded within 5 days.

Toddlerteaplease · 24/07/2023 10:20

Tesco. Absolutely brilliant. I've had 23k of claims, all settled with no fuss.

BingoFucklinger · 24/07/2023 10:24

Animal Friends. Lots of claims with no problems. And their customer service was really helpful when I wanted to change my plan recently.

1984Winston · 24/07/2023 11:05

Petplan, not the cheapest but they pay out with no problems and vets are more likely to do direct claims (had a referral bill of 3k earlier this year and it was paid directly)

Many Pets

ItsNotRocketSalad · 24/07/2023 11:45

Petplan. Any vet will tell you it's worth the premiums.

Animal Friend are appalling, though some people get lucky. You get what you pay for with insurance.

bellinisurge · 24/07/2023 11:46

Pet plan. No messing with anything that isn't lifetime cover from Day One.

MandyMotherOfBrian · 24/07/2023 11:50

Petplan 100%. I’ve had various older rescue animals, made many many claims, and never had an issue - claims paid immediately no question. Also benefit from the fact that for larger bills most Bets are happy to claim direct from them as they’re so reliable

Thecatisboss · 24/07/2023 11:50

Pet plan. They paid out so much for our cat who died last year at 22. New cats policy is also with them.

cinnamonfrenchtoast · 24/07/2023 12:23

Tesco! We've had seven animals insured with them over the years (plus multiple cars) and they've always paid up in full without a fuss.

This isn't very much cover.

GroutScrubberExtraordinaire · 24/07/2023 12:32

ManyPets - the £15k lifetime cover whch PP has (which actually is a lot of cover, because it's £15k per year with each issue covered for life).

So far I've claimed around £12k. They have paid out without issue, often paying me within 4-5 hours of the claim going in but for the larger claims, paying the vet direct.

Really would recommend them. The only other I would go with is PetPlan, but their top level was not as high as Many Pets for a few things, which is why I chose them in the end.

It is loads of cover

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 24/07/2023 12:33

Petplan. They paid out thousands for Harry over the years and there was never an issue

Whatabouterry · 24/07/2023 12:34

PetPlan. Our vet is always happy to claim directly with them and they pay really quickly with no issues. Our dog has had surgery lately and they’ve been brilliant. Expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

MirandaWest · 24/07/2023 12:36

We have Petplan. Paid up when DCat had an argument with a car. They dealt directly with the vet which was good considering what it costs for a mashed ankle (now has metal in it) and a dislocated hip (more straightforward).

OrlandointheWilderness · 24/07/2023 12:41

I found the many pets offered the most cover possible of all of them, and I've heard they are excellent with claims. So far I've not had to claim and fingers crossed I never will!

Yorkshirelass04 · 24/07/2023 13:30

Animal friends. I have claimed from them and it was no hassle.

Also animal friends donates to animal charities, so I like the feeling of giving to a good cause when paying the premiums.

PriamFarrl · 24/07/2023 13:32

I’m with Direct Line. Very helpful with my girl.

YoSof · 24/07/2023 16:47

Many Pets. They’ve been brilliant, only had reason to claim once so far (touch wood!) claim submitted at 7pm, accepted and money in my bank by 10am the next day.

LaPerduta · 24/07/2023 16:48

I've used M&S, but tempted to switch after reading this.
