we moved house at the end of May - our cat, Kimi, stayed in kennels for a day or so before moving day, and for a few days after. So, we brought her to new house on the following Monday June 5th (moved on a Wednesday). So, we've kept her inside since - 7 weeks ish now?
There's been huge amounts of upheaval as my husband passed away suddenly at home, and lots of strange people in and out of the house.
However, I think she is now comfortable in the house (she's sleeping on top of my bed, rather than hiding in corners) and is playing more. and me and the boys feel ready to let her explore the outdoors (she went out before in our old house).
we'd like to let her out now, but should we let her out after feeding her, or...? At the back we have just got mud currently (turf happening later) and there is still building going on across the estate.
Any advice on how to let Kimi out again and keep her safe would be appreciated.
