A picture of girl cat on a local Facebook group saying "does anyone know this cat? Always at my door meowing for food, seems very hungry, may be a stray".

She is neither. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

This drives me mad on local Facebook groups. The lost and found cat groups are full of people who have seen a cat wandering around, that usually lives just down the road and is doing its cat thing of playing at being starving and trying to find more more more food.

My lovely big boy who died a couple of years ago was regularly featured making himself at home in other houses.

Your cat is identical to my black cat. 😻 Mine isn't very sociable though, so isn't a star of the found cats groups 😂

Mine is quite small and from some angles looks quite thin.

My carer went to a neighbour's house to collect a parcel, and she wandered out, he asked about why she was there and she had conned them into thinking she was a stray kitten and that she enjoyed sleeping on neighbour's belly.

A new neighbour moved in last year and after a few days we noticed a box outside with a towel and a plate of food.

The lady did not speak much English but I managed to explain she is mine.

My neighbours next door but one also give her the odd treat.

I don't see much of my neighbour opposite as she is 95, her relatives visit daily and sometimes cannot get past my little con artist lying on her back asking for belly rubs.
