Cat flap sizes

Currently have small Sureflap, which is really too small for biggest cat (didn’t have him when it was fitted) - he’s half Bengal, 7kg.
The door people say the bigger one is too big to fit securely in the panel.
We don’t use the chip ID so I’m wondering if a different make might be OK.
Hoping not to have to wade through dozens of measurements!
Any recommendations please?

That’s a shame about the bigger sureflap as we have it and our Bengal (6.5kg) is perfect in it. The glass guys did laugh a lot at me. Said they’d never seen such a big cat flap ever.
It is very roomy for him though so if you could get a smaller one that should work. Ie go on the measurements of the big one but small enough to fit the door safely

I’ll have a rummage around on zooplus and take precise measurements.
I think the non-micro flaps have a bigger opening, despite being a bit smaller overall, so I hope one of those will do.

I love the photo Giantkitten. My friends' cat struggles a bit through their catflap when he is at his winter weight. Depending on where you live, there might be a downside to a non chip large cat flap. The same friends knew someone who heard scrabbling in her kitchen. When she went to investigate, she saw a badger trying to get in and eat the cat's supper!
