British Short Hair - reputable breeders?

How do I go about finding a reputable breeder for a BSH? I am in the South East (near London).
What can I expect to pay for one, realistically?

I have two BSH. There is a group on Facebook called British Blue Cats (Pedigree BSH/BLH of all colours welcome) and they have a list of reputable breeders who are GCCF registered. Also, as members have BSH the group is a goldmine of information.

In terms of cost, like all things this depends on a few variables, but probably in the region of £500-£850 and possibly more,

Rescues have BSH. St Francis Persian rescue has them occasionally. They have one at the minute.

Yes, do check the rescues first. They are currently overflowing with cats and kittens.
