Injury to cat? Vet or not?

We have a 10 week old kitten who managed to get under the sofa as it was being reclined last night. We heard a yelp and quickly rescued him. He seemed a bit shaken but otherwise fine. He had lots of cuddles and seemed fine.
This morning he is running around as normal, jumping on and off beds, rolling down the stairs, playing, eating, using the litter tray, sitting and lying normally.
He is however licking the right side of his abdomen a lot (every few minutes) and cries when we pick him up which he doesn’t normally do.
Should I pay a visit to the vets or wait and see? Thanks

Vet - could be internal damage

Absolutely go to the vet. Cats are great at masking pain.

I would to be on the safe side.

Absolutely vet time!

Yes - vet for a checkup. It's probably just bruising but I would definitely get a professional opinion just in case.

Definitely a vet.

Of course vets, hope he's ok. 10 weeks old is tiny. There could be any sort of internal damage going on.
