The cat has worms but she’s been wormed! What to do…

This is a new one for us….
Both my cats are wormed on a 3 monthly basis - wormer from the vets on prescription - they’re both due the next dosE at the end of the month.
10 month old kitten today pooed outside her litter box and I think there was a thin noodle like worm in there.

As she’s on a 3 monthly wormer I assume I can’t just dose her with something else - what do I do!?

Any advice gladly received!

Just worm her. Wormers aren't preventative so only kill any worms present. She probably will need worming more frequently going forward.

@Yarnosaura will a worker from the pet store do or is it better to see if I can get her milbevet wormer earlier?
Can I over dose her is what I think I’m asking!

I'd get a wormer from the vets as usual. Hunting cats would typically be wormed every month so you don't need to worry about ODing her. But I'd switch her to monthly worming now.

Ring the vet and ask them , if she’s on a vet plan you can likely just get extra

Get one from the vet, they will be able to adjust does to weight of cat. The over counter ones are crap.

Thanks all; I’ll weigh her tonight and give the vets a call first thing tomorrow.
This cat will be the end of me!
