Blood in poo. Nothing new in diet. Seeing vet tomorrow. Any experience?

For the past few weeks my cat has, on and off had small bits of blood in her poo. She's an indoor cat with no new food. She seems ok in herself, eating drinking and playing etc. I've got a vet appointment tomorrow.
Anyone got experience of this? She's nearly 8 and is a tuxie cat so no special breed.

Yes. My indoor girl got colitis, when I changed from their normal Iams vitality indoor cat it light in fat, to the senior one. The vet gave her some kaolin paste and I swapped back. I did wonder if she'd eaten anything in the garden. But think it was unlikely.

Is she wormed regularly? Worms can cause this

Mine apparently just had hard stools. Prob caused her to have piles.

When I realised she’d not been pooping daily and she’d been in the tray for a while with no result, it made sense.

The vet checked her out. Nothing amiss I changed her food and she was fine. If she’d drunk more water she’d have been fine but cats don’t drink (mine did in later life, tho, kidney disease). I fed wet food after that constipation episode.

One of mine gets stress colitis when I vacuum or there is noise/disruption.
