Oh, yes.

Fluffyknickers was cycling within 48 hours by the time our vet fitted her in. I practically ran into the vet and hurled the carrier at them in the hope that she wouldn't proposition the vet when they took her out of it after a very, very noisy and smelly Christmas.

Do cats bleed?

Would she wee anywhere in particular?

I asked the vet about this because we would have had her done but she had this issue which fingers crossed is ok.

He seemed extremely relaxed about it and didn't mention this.

No they don't generally bleed when in season, although I have heard of it happening. They can be neutered when in season, but I think it makes it a little bit more difficult which will be why you were told to wait a week.

Just make sure all windows are securely closed and there is no way she can get out.

She's booked in for next week 🙏 hopefully they can do it then and microchip her

Oh god I remember my cat and the drama of her escaping through the tiny UPSTAIRS bathroom window and shinning down the drainpipe!! She met her fella in the road before I could get there and the kids were 😯

she was booked in for a spay the following week! Anyway she had the loveliest kittens and was neutered soon after. I still feel bad about it even now more than 20 years later. But it was funny!

Our poor neutered tom was most confused when our retired queen had a season to make sure she wasn't pg. He knew the basics but couldn't deliver the goods and got swatted in the face when she realised. Unfortunately it didnt stop her pushing her rear in his face every 5 minutes.

Has no one thought to neuter the one eyed boy? It's cheaper in boys and your making his life better.

Is the male cat neutered?

If not, you need to keep them separated until she's neutered or she'll get pregnant.
