I agree it looks like a wart , my dog use to get them on his muzzle .
as long as they dont get knocked / irritated / bleed we left them alone he was not at all bothered by them

UPDATE ..it’s a benign skin tag BUT whilst at the vet they detected a fairly significant heart murmur ( vet thinks cardio hyoertropic myopathy ? ) so is now booked in for a scan in January and likely ongoing treatment with anticoagulants thankyou for your responses

Gosh, so the skin tag you were worried about means that you have found out about his heart condition, so it has possibly saved his life! You may never have found out if he hadn't gone to the vets with that patch.

I am so glad you foundthis out now so it can be treated.
I hope your kitty is ok and can be treated successfully

I know , Hopefully it’s something that can be medically managed ….I joked to the vet that I needed to start sharing my meds with the cat !

I am also very glad you ignored my words of 'wisdom ' saying it was a wort and ok to leave ! .
Lol do you have to coat your meds with lik-e-licks too before you will swallow them 😂
