Just noticed running red eyes... Vet tomorrow or Monday?

He's had it a year before, he has calicivirus, so it probably will occur once in a while. Do i wait till an appointment on, Monday or try for an emergency appointment tomorrow?

I buy my cat human chloramphenicol drops when she gets conjunctivitis. Though make sure you don't say it's for a cat!

One time I rang the vet just for advice as my cat had something going on with its eye, they said to bring it straight in as eyes can become serious very quickly. It turned out ok in my case but I was pleased I didn't wait and see.

I will ring the cat insurance vets tomorrow and see what they advise. They look a touch gunky, so conjunctivitis I'd say.

Call the vet, in the meantime, clean the eyes with tepid camomile tea.

So... They look absolutely fine today, not red, no discharge?
