I have an adult female cat who is 5 years old. We got a kitten 5 weeks ago and I think I've ruined the female cats life!
She absolutely hates him, he is adorable and just wants to play with her. She's having none of it, she's still growling, batting him, jumping on him if he gets too close and is only happy if she's eating his food.
I feel awful as I thought she'd have mellowed by now. She gets plenty of attention as I let her go upstairs to my daughters room, and she's gets a fuss of both of us.
I have a Feliway friends plug in, they both get plenty of attention. Is there anything else I can do to help them get on. He's too little to be neutered yet but will get him done when he weighs enough.
