Our cat is 7, and has been diagnosed with this and after taking antibiotics with no real improvement in liver enzymes , so we have had to increase her steroid dosage. She is utterly jaundiced and yellow.
She is still eating well, and is actually more or less herself, but almost once a week or so she is sick and diarrhoea. She has gained a lot of weight after being an awfully small weight, but I suspect the steroids have given her an increase in appetite, along with thirst.
im so sad, I can’t see improvement and we’re just plodding on with our yellow kitty praying for some sort of change.
