Honestly, it's not normal 🙄 I have become THAT lady in my street where I come home and my babies bound up to me, purring and rubbing around me.

Am I crazy or is this the perfect life? 🤔

I can’t comment without seeing pictures of them. It’s the rules.

I am getting divorced soon and my future plans are all about cats.

I want at least four, don’t mind if they dribble and shed. Then I’m going to see if I can foster mums and kittens too. I will be covered in cat hair and won’t care.

My STBX didn’t like the cat we owned because he wasn’t ‘friendly enough’, and stopped me fostering because he said it would be too smelly. Fuck him.

Surely you mean purrfect up? Actually my dcat is a bit of a twat. He wasn't until his db died. Totally changed him. Too loud and too needy.

oh God same here. I love my cats so much. If I’m honest, more than most humans. I realised I’d properly lost my mind last night when it was thundering and they came and jumped on my bed, and I found myself singing ‘my favourite things’’ from the sound of music to them.

It's completely normal, I too have become "that" woman who's day is made perfect whatever has gone on by my pair galloping down the stairs sounding like a herd of baby hippos when I get in from work.

My blood pressure is lower, I sleep better, I am generally more content now I have 2 furry black bundles of love - and no man - in my life.

I have found my people! I also love my cats more than most people. I adopted them as rescue kittens and we have an incredibly close bond. I think I'm literally at my happiest when I wake up in the morning to find myself wedged between the two of them in bed, I refer to it as being a "cat sandwich".

Glad I'm not alone 🤣 My 3 buggers drive me insane but their love and purrs keep me going 😍😍😍

The last guy I went out with, after love bombing me declared he 'didnt care for cats... that was the end of that 🙄

I am like this with my cat & my dog, absolutely adore them & spend my days wfh with them every day, both sat by me.

i will need bereavement councilling when my dog dies, i literally love him that much. I will be devastated forever & so will my DD. We are a perfect trio & he never leaves our side.

I love all my cats, even though they are demanding, pesky, troublesome arseholes. Just takes one to gaze at me with their big saucer eyes and sharp claws and I melt.

I have 3 cats, sort of 4 with another chancer hanging around. My neighbours cats run over to greet me 😂
I've been banished to the spare room for snoring but the cats don't mind..

I also have a nutter bereaved cat who was normalish before but not been right in the head since. I love him don't get me wrong, but he is a total dick most of the time.

I like your style! Weirdly, one of my cats loved my ex husband. He used to pick her up and sing to her in Arabic, I never quite worked it out 😒

My other 5 cats over the years have all made me feel the same way that you all feel, absolutely besotted from the word go, so it was a complete shock with this cat........Sad and jealous 🙀
