I'd forgotten how much of a pickle a kitten can be!

Just that really. DCat is five and still incredibly playful but our new kitten is eleven weeks and such a whirlwind, I'd forgotten how much attention they need. She's adorable though, so I'll let her off. Definitely the last kitten though, if we have another cat in years to come I've already said no more kittens, we'll go for an older one.....

How could you be grumpy at that adorable face?

I'm sure it's attitude not age though as my rather decrepit 15 year old girl is rolling around with a pipe cleaner at the moment both demanding someone play with her and also slapping anyone that goes near her...

I think it's more that I'd forgotten how you can't take your eyes off of them when they're so little plus trying to air the house in this heat when we can't open the windows in case she gets out. She's absolutely adorable though and has completely won over DH who thought getting another cat was a daft idea (good job the kids and I ignore him most of the time!)

I wouldn't do the kitten tornado stage again for the world, it's crazy! Good job they're so freaking adorable.

Flat cat screens are your friend! I love mine. She’s a brindle tortie though RIP to your house 😹

I nearly bought a kitten home once, dh commented I hadn’t thought to talk it through with him “not that kind of marriage darling” was my reply. On the upside I’d be ok with him bringing strays home.

My daughter's new kitten has ripped one set of curtains completely off the wall twice racing around like a lunatic. They only moved in two weeks ago. The other set on the patio doors are starting to look as if they have been through a shredder

I've always said I'd love a kitten but our 11yr old cat is a furry whirlwind himself! I second the suggestion of Flat Cat window screens! Life changing for us and our indoor cat.

I believe you 😁

That beautiful face though!
Love the tornado stage - so funny - serious kitten envy here!

She's fab, but I'm now in the feeling guilty stage as my boy keeps growling at her and I'm thinking maybe he'd have preferred to be an only cat! But, then he was going nice the annoying kitten so I guess it'll work out in the end
