Purina have changed Gourmet Mon Petit cat food to Gournet Mon Petit Intense - fussy cat doesn't like it!

As per the subject, it is now almost impossible to get the original recipe Gourmet Mon Petit wet cat food pouches which are pretty much the only wet food my fussy monster likes. They have changed it to GMP Intense which my little monster turns her nose up at and won't eat.

Does anyone have any recommendatons for wet cat food that is very similar to the original Gourmet Mon Petit please? Or does anyone know where the original formula can still be found.

I made an Amazon order which should have been the original formula but the new formula was sent instead.

Any advice gratefully received 😺thank you.

I hope you sent the amazon food back, they cant just change your order like that.

Have you tried cheaper shops like the range, b&m, homebargains et al? Approved food is an online retailer that sells short dated human food but they have pet food too.

We tried the range home bargains and several different supermarkets - all have changed to the intense. Luckily our cat seems to have got used to the new food after a couple of days

Are these the right ones? I've ordered from this company before & they were good.

Yes they are, thank you. Hopefully they still have some of the old flavours in stock. I will give them a try.

Thanks for the advice on Approved Food, I will have a look. Sadly I have tried the wet food with gravy from Aldi, Lidl, Tesco and various others and she turns her nose up. (She also turns her nose up at the expensive ones like Lilys Kitchen and Applaws 😾)

And I will be sending the wrong order back to Amazon thank you.

Thank you all for the helpful advice.

I fear she will have to get used to another food eventually but hopefully I can find some of the GMP old version in the meantime and switch over gradually.

My fussy cat is the same. He won't eat the new version. B & M seem to only have the new one now.

Have you tried sheba fine flakes? My fussy boy likes them and the mon petite

Have you tried offering a Saucerful of Secrets 😁 (sorry)

I have no advice but I'm now panicking slightly because I could well find myself in the same position 🫣
