How my cats (lizards) are dealing with this terrible heat?

By lying full length on top of me every night covering me with their fur coats....I'm dying.

Mac keeping cool but coming in waving dead leaves, bits of twigs and an assortment of dried crap.

Damp towel on cool tiled floor has been eyed with suspicion. Fave place is under plants in a flower bed or stretched out on a shady bit of grass, in common with other cats on this thread!

I lined the cat bed with a a damp towel, my cat loves it, is fast asleep and most importantly...quiet!

Maybe I'll try this!

Aaaahhhhh.... how much i love the sight of a fast asleep and contented cat.

I spent my lunch hour (wfh) in the garden. Number 2 cat gets all excited if anyone is in 'her' garden and spent the time stalking and pouncing on me with little whiffle chirrups. Then she flaked out under our walnut tree and snored.

It was a deeply happy time.

This one has been asleep on a chair in the garden for most of the day.

One of ours is sprawled on the couch, for once shunning her heat mat (she's 18). Another has appeared for food a couple of times but otherwise hasn't been seen. The third came in sodden earlier, having presumably fallen or jumped into the stream; she licked herself dry and has been conked out on DD's bed since.

Ours is sun bathing! Ok it's only 28 here but even so

Hot cats. They are very sleepy.
