Just tried to book the girls appointments and put on a waiting list. Are other people having this issue too?

Had mine done at the end of last month & there were no problems in North Kent.

Certain companies still have supply issues it depends which brand your practice has a contract with. All brands are still only supplying their contract practices.

Retrievemysanity · 27/05/2022 09:50

We were told there were issues back in Feb/March but got both mine done at the end of April.

Toddlerteaplease · 27/05/2022 09:51

As long as they are done in time for the cattery at the end of July.

Yep. Our appointment has been pushed back 3 months from the usual yearly check.

Toddlerteaplease · 27/05/2022 09:51

Apparently the practice is allocated a certain amount each month.

No problems with our 4 a couple of months ago.
they usually have a 3 month window, I think.

Toddlerteaplease · 27/05/2022 10:18

Yes there is. But I doubt the cattery will be too happy. I usually had them done around now. But vivid pushed it back.

I'm in Suffolk and had no trouble getting my two older ones their boosters. Will be interested to see what it's like late September when the younger ones are due.

FlyingFlamingo · 28/05/2022 22:00

My vets refused to book them in until 15 months after the last dose, and then sent passive aggressive automatic texts telling me they were overdue Hmm

It was very much a computer says no situation when I asked them to stop it, apparently they can only switch off the texts when a pet dies Hmm

Bordesleyhills · 31/08/2022 14:23

Interested that they are still issues- I pay for life yet vets want £20 to restart...not impressed

There is still not 'free' supply the only access is through your vaccine contract.
We are covering restarts for members of our pet health plan, but not for non-members.

Toddlerteaplease · 01/09/2022 10:06

Finally had them today. 2.5 months late!

Mine are on the health plan so if they had to restart presumably they'd have been covered. By I don't think people who are not and have tried to get them done in the time frame should have to fit the bill.
