I'm no cat novice, this kitten is our 5th cat.
However, our previous 4 were all young together (3 came from the same litter and the 4th came along a few months later) so they all kind of played with each other, and their toys.
We only have one "original" cat left and he is 16yo so I'm a long ways out of the kitten game.
New kitten is 8 weeks old and really playful, climbs like a pro, is practicing his pouncing at every opportunity but sadly his only toy of choice is my fingers.
Cute as that is, my fingers will soon start pissing blood like a sprinkler system with the holes he's putting in me.
I bought dangling toys on sticks, laser pens, little mice, cat nip toys, balls, scratching bits, and a motorised thing under a blanket and he hates them all. I got a momentary respite when he found a ribbon.
I Wfh, he thinks me using the mouse and typing is the best toy ever!!!
My 16yo furry boy just watches him with the amusement that only a pensioner can have with a baby.
Anyone found a magic toy that even the most awkward kitten cant resist and save my poor fingers? 😁
