Just want to shout about my new baby girl, I brought her home from Battersea on Saturday and I am totally in love!
She is 11 years old, 3kg and very tiny, like a fairy princess cat. As soon as she arrived she strolled out of the carrier without a care in the world and promptly set about grooming herself and playing with a catnip mouse! Every night she's slept down by my feet and loves to lie next to me while I work from home. She's a real Velcro cat.
I grew up with cats but she is the first pet I've had as an adult. I came out of an abusive relationship 6 months ago and have been finding life tough as I've got back on my feet but for the first time since then I feel genuine happiness and joy, listening to her purr and watching her play. Animals are the best healers!
