Cheaper grain free wet food (than Meowing Heads)

We are having to cut lots of corners, at the moment, and I'm looking for an alternative to Meowing Heads Pouches for our 2 cats. We get them on a subscription, but they're so expensive.
Any recommendations for a cheaper alternative?

Maybe look on zooplus

James Wellbeloved is grain free. I fed it when my rescue girl was getting over giardia and all sorts of nasty digestive problems. Its not the cheapest but definitely cheaper than Meowing Heads.

She is now a chonky sleek madam with a full luxurious coat who can digest anything so I guess it worked.

This, from Pets at Home. We got it in an emergency when we couldn't get the ruinously expensive stuff we were getting from Zooplus as it was out of stock. £15 for 24 big tins, totally grain free and made in the UK. We are saving so much money Smile

Bozita at zooplus is really good value for grain free and high meat content food. Works out cheaper than most other brands.

Lilly's kitchen is grain free.

Butchers Classic mentioned above is very cheap. My last two had it most of their lives and lived to a good old age. Unfortunately, my present lovely boys came to me on Felux and wo t touch it. Certainly worth trying Classic as it could save you loads

I buy Carny from Zooplus. 100% meat(lots of organ bits if you’re squeamish) but excellent-my cat goes mad for it. I think it’s made in Germany-it’s about £14.99 for 12 400g cans-it has gone up in price from a few months ago.

This thread has some other suggestions for you; & if you look out for my post, it has a link to another active thread with yet more ideas.

Was genuinely confused by the other two earlier - well, with assistance of the site having a funny 5.

My Amazon subscribe & save includes a box of Meowing Heads every few months because it’s too pricey too be everyday food even for cats whose diet is half wet & half dry, so I very much empathise regarding cost. I hope you can find an alternative that your cats like without too much difficulty.

Did you try sainsburys own brand their posh version? It’s just the same as encore. Mine can’t get off Felix agail I’ve tried so many times.
