Do I need to take cat to vet? Bleeding

Hi,
I have a female cat who kind of wandered into our lives years ago. She is un-spayed but lives indoors. She's never had a litter.
A couple of days ago I noticed a drop of blood where she had been sleeping. Today there are a few more around the house. I'm 99% sure it's her and not my other cats. She's not currently in heat and seems completely fine and well in herself.
Do I need to take her to the vet or is this normal? I've never had this before. DP thinks take her if she shows any discomfort or distress but I think she should go now.

Yes, vets. I'd be concerned about pyometra in an unspayed cat. She needs to be spayed even if the bleeding is innocuous.

Could also be UTI which would also need vets.

Thank you both - appreciate it!

If it's a UTI, she'll be in a lot of pain. She needs to see a vet urgently. If you've got any Loxicom or similar painkiller for cats at home, give her some to ease the pain.

Pyometra. It's an emergency and a very common killer of unspayed indoor cats. Get her to the vets immediately. And, if it turns out to be something else, book her in to be spayed soon.

Is she in the vets now?

Vet, immediately.

I suspect it's pyometra and it could be fatal if you leave it.
