Is the gel litter worth the money?

Our kitten is coming home and currently uses this so will need to keep it for a but going forward, is it worth it?
Does it last longer? Use less at a time or stay fresher for example? It seems alot more expensive so just wondering why.

Gel and kittens sounds like a vets bill. Kittens need non clumping incase they eat it.

Thanks. They use the gel one now with her so will probably use it whilst she gets used to the house.
