I’ve just had to have my little girl PTS

She suddenly couldn’t walk/use her back legs and was crying as I was going to bed. Took her to the emergency vet and she said it was a clot. She had no feeling in her back legs at all and was losing it in one of her front legs. Very poor prognosis so the decision was made to PTS. She was 10. It’s a year ago tomorrow since my 10 year old dog was PTS after his lymphoma got the better of him. Heartbroken doesn’t even come close.

I am so, so very sorry @MaryAndGerryLivingInDerry. There are no words that can help, but sending Flowers and unmumsnetty hugs

I'm sorry.
It's been two weeks since i had to pts my little girl and just got her ashes back today and it feels like i just lost her still.
Her brother keeps calling thinking she's just hiding.
I keep telling myself it will get easier eventually, it's the only way I'm surviving everyone else's festive cheer.

Thank you @OnceUponAMidnightBeery

@1vandal2 I am so sorry. I don’t think it has hit me properly yet. Probably will tomorrow.

Thank you all. It’s so strange being in the house without her today. She was such a gentle girl.
