I am looking to change pet insurer as MoreThan want more for 1 cat than I pay to insure my house and car!!
Thought I'd go with PetPlan as good reputation but I can't find the excess online - and want to know what I am buying before I pay.
Online I've gone through all the details but no excess comes up - it's not in the policy.
I've tried on the webchat and I'm told I have to buy the policy before they can tell me what the excess would be.
I've called and have got through to Indian call centre which is relying on a script and either won't listen to my actual question or have told me that the information re the excess is there but they won't tell me where. I think they want me to buy before telling me.
So
- does anyone know what the excess is (prior to the age-related % increase at 8 years old.
- is there a good and reasonably priced insurer out there. This experience of just trying to buy the policy has put me off PetPlan now.
