Beautiful boy to be put to sleep this afternoon

My beautiful 13 year old moggie will be put to sleep this afternoon and I'm rather in bits. he was poorly this morning and took him to the vet and just had a sense of it. He's got terrible kidney failure. I'm trying to work but am just in bits before we go later this afternoon to have some last time with him

I think i will want to bury him in the garden but dont know what I should put him in. just feel so very sad

I'm sorry, went through exactly the same thing a month ago. Had my ten year old cat put to sleep because of kidney failure too 😢

So sorry for your loss. I had to have my beautiful boy pts last sat and know how hard it is. Been crying every day but it's getting a little better. We have his ashes back which I think helps and I've chosen a lovely photo to put in a frame. I know exactly what you mean about a cat shaped hole xx
