Senior food v standard food

10yo dcat seems to like Waitrose Senior cat food in jelly the best. The sachets are twice the price of tins, plus it seems environmentally wasteful to open 4-5 sachets every day, rather than one recyclable tin.

But Waitrose only do standard cat food in tins, not the Senior food. What's the difference? Is it something I can add to standard food?

The co op recycle the pet food sachets
If you scroll down and put your postcode in they will say where your nearest one is. They also recycle everything from yogurt pot lids, bread bags, cheese wrapping, crisp packets, fruit bags etc

Full list they recycle here

Terracycle also have collection points for pet food pouches.

No clue about the food differences though-sorry!
