Smelly female foster kitten

We are currently fostering a female kitten age about 6mo. Before we have only had male kittens. This current one smells so bad! We scoop the litter tray 3 or 4 times a day and completely change and clean it twice a week. Open windows to air daily and clean and hoover her room. She is not allowed outside as she is a foster. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why she smells so bad and how we can combat it?

Do you mean she smells or just her poo smells?

If it's just her poo can you try different foods?

There's just a lot more cat smell in general than we've had with the boys. The litter tray is bad but it seems like she just pervades the entire downstairs.

Has she been spayed?
What food does she eat?

Has she been wormed, spayed and checked for a UTI. Does she have an infection somewhere like her ears or paws. I would get a vet check up, she shouldnt smell bad.

She has felix kitten in jelly - it's what the rescue want us to feed her. She's very happy and active chasing about after toys and settling down for cuddles. Doesn't mind her feet or ears being touched.

Is she spayed?

She's not spayed yet, the rescue are in the process of arranging it
