Hello,

I just want to see the cute cats of MN, I know I can search the web and Instagram and whatever but I'm quite fond of MN and would like to see its members cats and to know a bit about them- it's just a light hearted thread of cute pictures to hopefully cheer everyone up.

Percy the ginger kitten - he's the newest addition, he's nine weeks old and I was only suppose to be looking after him and to socialise him but he's wormed his way into our hearts (failed foster).

Betty the Maine Coon - she was a kitten we got 10 weeks ago, she was meant to be ours and she's a very lovely kitten but she's so big she can jump into our fridge for the ham so we need to be careful when opening the door (a friend of ours breeds Maine coons which is why we bought her rather than rescue).

Salem the black cat - he was rescued two years ago from a lovely man who has cancer and couldn't look after him anymore, he likes to cuddle and watch you on the loo.

Penny the rag doll - she is the sweetest cat in the world, she loves to cuddle and you can always find her curled up near by. My husband bought her for me as a wedding gift as I've always rescued cats but always had my heart set on a ragdoll.

Charlie the white cat - he's the most cat like, very aloof and acts like it's a coincidence he's in the same room as you all the time and when he walks past he just happens to brush your hand but absolutely doesn't want a stroke  he was rescued off the street when his owner decided to move house without him five years ago.

I can't sleep and this felt like a fun thread 😊

These are my 3 boys, Jax and Opie are brothers. Jax is a giant softy who spends his days sleeping and eating. He is a real homebody who is happiest when he can see us. Opie is a wanderer and has only recently returned home after his latest 2 year adventure! Bogey is the third member of the crew and is super skittish but defends his garden with a passion.
They all get on so well and will all sleep and eat together very happily.
Opie is in the first photo, Jax is the second and Bogey is in the third.

This is Miss Pfeiffer, she is my only girl cat. She lives upstairs (totally her choice) and is the absolute boss of the house.

These little dudes are out newest addition to the farm. Still haven't named them but they are so cute 🥰

This is Beans. She likes to keep me company when I’m working from home. She’s going to be so cross when I go back to the office

This is Wilson. He'll do tricks for dreamies, pretends to be asleep when I catch him scratching the sofa and walks with me halfway through the churchyard on my way out, and is there waiting when I get back.

Magic and Maia were rescued aged five after an awful life as breeding queens in a kitten farm. Took a couple of years of patience to increase their confidence. But it was so worth it. They were/ are lovely cats.

Maia was very bossy and dominant. She was an absolute diva. She died three years ago at the age of 8, from heart disease and kidney failure.

Magic is more placid but since not being dominated by her sister has absolutely blossomed. She's found her voice and is very protective of Cheddar. She's definitely enjoying her status as queen Bee.

Cheddar is cheddar. She's bonkers, very loud and very nosey. She has an opinion on everything. But very chilled out and cuddly. She loves everyone.

After one of our db's died last year ours was depressed... We got a dkitten. Feisty madam keeps our ddogs well in line!!
They were besties within a fortnight..

Awwwwwwwwww such pies. However you can never help having a huge soft spot for the babies, can you. Those tiny farm kittens are just delicious.

Squeeze...so much cuteness!

This is Piper (fluffy) and Edie, 3yo sisters.

Piper is a chonk who speaks fluent 'mrrrrp' but rarely meows, loves being carried about on your hip like a baby, hi fives when you walk past her but is a bit inept as using the litter tray (everything on target, but scratches everything but the litter when trying to cover up...it sounds like a steel band playing in the kitchen!).

Her sister Edie is tiny and complete mummies girl...if I'm at home she's sat on cushion at the back of my sofa, or on my lap, especially if there's a fluffy blanket involved in which case she'll spend ages sucking it whilst making biscuits and purring like a traction engine. She gets very jealous if I give Piper too much attention and has taken to giving my best mate the cold shoulder when she comes round as she also house/cat sits for me so she thinks that when she turns up I won't be around. She does brilliant mid air star jumps when catching flies .

This is Loki. We've had him for a week. We're all besotted 😻 He's already so much more confident and loves a snuggle and chin scratch.

This is Sharon. She likes to lay on my chest in bed and make faces like she can see ghosts behind me. She is another one who is delighted with the working from home situation. She is an odd cat, and so fits in with us just perfectly 🥰

Aww great thread! This is Krikkit - he is a terror and likes to take up as much of the bed as he possibly can and intimidate the neighbours in their own garden.
