Lesson learnt - don't leave out used cooking oil for cat to get to

Left a container on worktop with some used cooking oil in it to dispose of this morning when cold. Found cat on worktop this morning tucking in.
Fast forward a few hours and cat has had a bout of diarrhoea and missed the litter tray!
Was wracking my brains trying to think of she'd had anything different to eat and then remembered the oil!!
Oh well this is the first clean up I've had to do really since she's been with us. Got her from a rescue a couple of months ago and she's been so clean until this.
I hope it's all out of her system now.

My friends dog managed to steal a whole kilo tub of Vitalite (remember that?) off the side.

The shits that came out of that dog were something else! Be prepared.

I'm keeping a very close eye on her in case of more episodes. She seems fine in herself thankfully.
