I really don't like coming in to find a dead squirrel under the kitchen table - which a maggot crawled out of when the body was removed 🤢

I hadn't noticed a terrible smell as the doors have been open all day and a quick Google shows maggots can hatch in a few hours but still my stomach is turned. Even more than when I have to clear up mouse innards 🥴

Still love them though.

I’d say two of the cats are capable but only one is likely to bring them inside. Often alive!

I was having a fraught work conversation in my study on Monday, and one of mine darted down the stairs making plumbing noises and spraying vomit copiously in all directions.
