By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

There's a thread up about a DH who talks in move quotes. I was going to suggest a few 'out there' ones to come back at him with so I looked up 'Alien' and found this

I'm very sorry for the lack of updates. I've seen TC around several times over the last few weeks but he's really not done anything photogenic for a while.

NDN has assured me that TC has been curled up inside the house or on his (NDN's) lap most of the time. He's clearly feeling the cold, or perhaps regretting the sins of his youth.

Glad he is OK, Grumpy! That's the main thing :)

Good to know that TC and his minions are all OK.
Whatever it is that he is contemplating I am sure that no part of it is regret for his "sins"

You mean your NDN has turned his central heating on and you haven't yet?

I agree that TC is just plotting his next move. You will be sitting quietly at your desk, feeling full of bonhomie. Then suddenly TC will appear....
